Haven been blogging for months, see no purpose in doing it since FB can update my status and comments will come in ur way faster than u've expected it. The holidays are coming to an end and many events have happened during the holidays. Those worth mentioning are my HK Trip and driving test. We went to buy a luggage to fill our shopping items and for the sake of my study trip. All of us manage to buy what we wanted by the first day and Dad was the one who won the title of shopping king this time. As long we step out of the hotel, he will definitely buy sth back and all he thinks abt is shopping and dun wish to do any sight-seeing even though im the map reader this time.WTH.

My driving test, damn fucking pissed with the warm up instructor and tester. Did comfort really take all our sch fees to pay such lazy and rude idiots like u guys. Warm up instructor fucking rude and ended the warm up less than the given time, nvm i thght the tester would be better. But im wrong, he dozed off during my test like WTF? Is this Singapore?or Indonesia? I hope i passed this time if not i shall not recommend any one learning driving to go sch anymore.

Exams are ard the corner and will be over in 2 weeks time. Another semester of a major project and that's it for 3 years of polytechnic. The end of studying marks the beginning of another new phrase in life. The future is uncertain, I myself do not know whether my route will turn out as planned but nevertheless I will accept what is given to me and make the best out of it. All everyone can do now is to live their lives to the fullest and cherish their surroundings, love ones and etc...Finally found a song that was on GG season 2 which i find it quite meaningful.

Paris

late post about this beautiful city(not the people though). Paris is really blessed to have a wonderful language, good food, untouched buildings, good landscape and wonderful weather. All i can say is nothing is perfect in this world and the bad thing abt paris is the french are the worst nationality i have ever met... they are so snobbish and horrible. It didnt leave a very good impression but nevertheless it wont stop me from going to Paris again...maybe next time i should go there in the night cause i heard effiel tower is better seen in the night and i will have to conquer effiel tower( since i missed it this time ). Nothing much to update apart from endless of projects coming our way and stressful saturdays at work. Shld i cont? or quit after october ? i dunno... i shall see how it goes. Dear sis seems to be enjoying her time in NYC, travelling ard on her off days and going to factory outlets to buy all the branded stuff at dirt cheap prices. How cool is that? I hope after my U, i can travel around the world with some friends like maybe do some back packing hoppin from cities to cities, like playing amazing race. Barely a month over there and she told me all their stuff are over flowing and buying a big luggage is the only solution to solve the problem. haha. Sounds like a rather good shopping haven huh? The last year in poly seemed to be passing on so quickly and yet slowly, im counting the days but still we have a few months to go before all of us part for our own ways. The more i think, the slower it gets. Unlike in the past, i hope the time can go slower instead it speed off faster than a bullet train. Human mindset, when u know where u r goin and what u r doing, u hope the current time passes quickly and the future to come asap. But when the good times are soon to be over, u hope it will just stop there and remain like that forever. I will have this feeling whenever im goin back to sch.

Dinner treat by company

Today went for a company dinner after sch, its an Italian restaurant that's called Al Forno @ 400 East Coast Road. For starters we had Sauté di Vongole( Clams tossed with garlic, white wine, parsley, and olive oil) and some Italian seafood platter that consists of squid and prawns. As everyone knows, i am not a big fan of edible creatures coming from the big ocean but the clam(especially) swept me off. It was really MAGNIFICO!!! Ms Tay then opened a bottle of white wine and we were free to order whatever we want. We tried mushroom soup, Spaghetti Carbonara, Spaghetti Al Nero Di Seppia ( squid ink spaghetti ) , Farfalle al Salmone( salmon pasta ). We ended off with tiramisu and my wanted dessert. Haha. Holidays

Its almost a week since I am back for Europe... I have to say i missed it. Dealing with Euros and Swiss Franc for that 9 days, i should say their standard of living is really way too high. Nothing is cheap over there except for alcohol and red wine. But its all worth it when u see the beautiful scenary and the scupltures and buildings left over from ancient history. I saw the map of Europe the other day and I realised how big is Europe and how many wonderful places I have yet to discover. However, this trip trigger my curiousity about this historical contintent and I will be definitely back( should my wallet allows me to ). Next priority on my travel list : Italy, Spain, Germany, Finland? haha. Alright let me introduce the wonderful part of the world...

Switzerland

Famous for its bank( credit suisse ), chocolates, swiss knife and watches. Singapore copied some of their models of running the country, how good can this country not be? Upon arriving in Zurich, we went over to Germany's Blackforest to enjoy a sumptuous Blackforest meal and not forgetting the ORIGINAL BLACKFOREST CAKE. We conquered 2 mountains this time round and sadly didnt manage to ski or do a doggy sledge ride due to the temp being not cold enough. The huskeys only work on temp from -10 degrees onwards :( Visited Bern, the capital of Switzerland and took a break at Eistein's house briefly and we were off to Geneva the place where many international organisations set up their HQs over there. Some of em are UN( united nations ), WHO( world health org ), World red cross org and etc... Geneva is the warmest of all days where temp was as high as 34 degree and there were lots of people and malls because its a more populated city. There is a huge broken chair just opposite UN to warn countries that plant land mines under their ground...every land mine that explodes will result in sth like the broken chair.

Updates

I just saw an email sent by Apple - they are introducing the new iPhone 3GS. Can't wait to lay my hands on this cool device BUT the problem is : Is Singapore selling it as cheap as what the news has mentioned, the iPhone( im not sure the previous model or what ) is going for as low as US$99. Shall check it out on friday at Singtel on the price of the iPhone w/o contract, hope it can be mine soon :)
Life has been wonderful for me so far and all the great things are happening in this 2 weeks of holidays. After looking at the calendar, i realise i only had 2 entire days to myself ( these 2 days exclude meeting up with my classmates ). I think when sch reopens, i will be damn shag and the bad news is i have already packed my whole july with unlimited driving lessons :) Wish me luck for my interview when i return from Europe. It will beautify both my resume and experience. Bye and good luck for the remaining 2 papers!
